I’m Eamon Ishrat — a lifelong learner, a father, and a believer in the power of people, clarity, and purposeful technology. Whether I’m strategising a chess match, watching an F1 race with my kids Neil and Nusha, or experimenting in the kitchen, I approach life with curiosity, focus, and a desire to understand how things work.
Professionally, I’m a Quality Engineering and Test Leadership professional with over 20 years of experience across government, public, and private sectors. I’ve built my career around turning complexity into clarity — guiding teams, shaping delivery practices, and helping organisations release technology with confidence and integrity. My work spans the full Software Development Lifecycle, including requirements analysis, test strategy, governance, quality assurance, risk management, automation leadership, DevOps enablement, and people and vendor management. I thrive in matrix delivery environments where collaboration, foresight, and structured decision-making make all the difference.
Leadership, to me, is about more than delivering projects on time. It is about building trust, creating alignment, and enabling people to excel. I take a proactive approach to identifying risks early, clarifying expectations, and ensuring teams have the tools, support, and clarity they need to deliver their best work. I’m equally passionate about emerging technologies such as AI, analytics, and IoT, and how they can be applied responsibly to build smarter, more resilient systems.
I created this website as a place to share practical insights and reflections gathered from real delivery work — not theory or jargon, but the everyday decisions and lessons that shape projects, releases, and teams. My hope is that these thoughts, drawn from years of hands-on and leadership experience, offer clarity, spark ideas, or help someone navigate a challenge with more confidence.
Alongside my work in Quality Engineering and Test Management, I maintain a curated set of safe, open-source testing and automation projects that I build in my own time. These personal projects reflect my interest in framework design, modern QA practices, and continuous learning. If you’re interested in exploring them, you can find them here:
